The CMS Operational Handbook is designed specifically for venues and will address a venue’s management of the operational and administrative requirements of the CMS. Change of Hotel Licensee Tax Calculator |

This tax calculator provides the gaming machine tax payable by an outgoing hotel licensee. |
| Long Description: |
When a change in hotel licensee occurs during a gaming tax quarter, the outgoing licensee should pay the incoming licensee for the tax on the profit that he/she has made. The licensee on the 21st day following the end of a tax quarter will be direct debited the gaming tax amount.
By simply entering into the spreadsheet attached below, the hotel’s gaming machine profit ($ Turnover minus $ Total Wins) and any jackpot link related payments, the calculator will calculate the applicable tax.
Note: this spreadsheet is an indicative measure only. DMS recommends you consult with your accountant/solicitor with all matters involving hotel licensee changes.
